A
few days ago my uncle asked me for a very big favor and I did not know how big
it was, I said yes. He has done me some favors and I felt I should pay him
doing him that favor. While he told
me about his situation and his business selling illegal alcoholic drinks,
I was thinking if I really should do him that favor. As soon as I heard the word illegal, I quickly told him no.
He
started to remind me of the favor I owed him, so he convinced me. He told me he
needed me to keep the drinks in the basement, while he found someone to sell
them to and nobody could find out because they were illegal drinks. It was
clear that I would be in trouble now
that I had become his accomplice. Even
though I was worried, I took the drinks to the basement and stored them
very well so nobody would find them.
The
problem is that the person I least expected was there right at my door, it was
the police with a search warrant because people had said that I had illegal
drinks hidden in my house. Because I
was nervous and scared, I did not let the police enter. However; I had
to let them in after they told me that if I resisted they would take me
prisoner. To surprise when the police entered the basement there was nothing.
My Uncle had taken the illegal drinks a night before without me noticing.
